A bachelorette yacht charter on Tampa Bay gives the bride and her friends a day that no restaurant or rented room can match. The yacht is yours alone, the captain and crew look after everything, and the Gulf does the rest: clear water at the sandbar, dolphins if you are lucky, and the sun going down over St. Pete Beach on the way home.

How a bachelorette day on the water goes

Most groups meet the boat late morning. The captain welcomes everyone aboard, the music goes on, and the yacht heads out past the beaches to a sandbar or an anchorage with water you can stand in. Swim, float, take the photos. Lunch happens at anchor, from your own cooler or from a private chef if you have booked one. In the afternoon the boat moves on, and the last hour is for the sunset on the run back in.

Four hours covers a swim and lunch. Six hours adds a second stop and the sunset. The office will tell you which suits your date.

Choosing the yacht for the party

Each yacht's page shows how many guests she takes and what she carries, so you can match the boat to your group before you ask. Bigger parties want a flybridge or a wide bow for the group photo; smaller ones are happy on a sport yacht with a big sun pad. See the fleet, or tell the office your numbers and we suggest the boat.

Decorations, photos and the extras

Banners, balloons and flowers come aboard on most boats. Confetti and glitter never do, because they end up in the bay. Ask the office before you buy, and we confirm the boat's house rules. A photographer can meet you at the dock or ride along; see content shoots. A private chef can serve lunch at anchor; see private chefs. Both are arranged through the office and quoted separately.

Where the boat goes

From St. Petersburg the day usually runs to Shell Key, Pass-a-Grille and the sandbars off St. Pete Beach. From the Tampa side it is the bay, Davis Islands and the skyline. From Clearwater Beach it is Caladesi and the islands to the north. Where the boat anchors is the captain's call on the day, for the conditions and the group.

Birthdays, proposals and the rest of the weekend

If the bachelorette is part of a bigger weekend, the same team arranges the rest. See our birthday yacht party page, the private sunset cruise, and celebrations and events for proposals and company days.

Questions

How many of us can come?

Each yacht's page shows how many guests she takes. Tell the office your numbers and we suggest the boat that fits the group.

Can we decorate the boat?

Usually yes, within the boat's house rules. Banners, balloons and flowers are common; confetti and glitter are not allowed on any boat. Ask the office before you buy anything.

Can we bring our own drinks?

Yes, always. Bring a cooler and the captain will find room for it. Glass is fine on most boats; the captain explains the rules at the start.

Can you arrange a photographer, a chef or a playlist?

A photographer and a private chef are arranged through the office and quoted separately. Music is yours: every boat has a sound system you can connect to.

What if it rains?

Florida showers usually pass. The decision to sail is the captain's, made on the day, and if your captain cancels for weather you get everything back in full.

Where do we meet the boat?

The office confirms your meeting point before the day. Most of our yachts meet in St. Petersburg or Tampa, close to the beaches and the sandbars.
