Every booking is handled by Well Played Editions in St. Petersburg, the price includes a licensed captain, crew and fuel, and the yacht is chartered by your group alone. Here is the path from first message to the dock.

- Enquire. Send your date, your group size and the kind of day you have in mind. Mention any occasion, any chef or extras you would like, and anything we should know.
- Receive a quote. The office replies with a yacht that suits your group and a quote you can read at your own pace. Prices on the site are starting points; the quote is the real figure.
- A deposit holds the date. Once you accept, a deposit reserves the yacht for you. The charter terms are public at os.wellplayededitions.com/charter-terms, and you acknowledge them at the deposit.
- The balance is due seven days before.
- Meet your captain. Your captain introduces himself before the day, so the first hello is not the moment you step aboard.
- Where to meet and what to bring. The office sends the meeting point and a short list of what to bring. Guests may always bring their own drinks, and we can arrange a chef or provisions if you would like more.
Your captain, your approval
Our charters are bareboat-style. You approve your own captain from our approved list, and Well Played acts as owner's representative, looking after the yacht on the owner's behalf. Weather is the captain's call
On the day, the captain decides whether conditions are right. It is never the guest's call, so you are not left with a hard decision at the dock. If the captain calls the day off for weather, the charter is rescheduled at no cost, within the charter terms. The captain also decides where the boat anchors, based on wind, tide and traffic.
Choosing the yacht
Every yacht in the fleet has its own page with photographs and the number of guests she takes. Compare them, or tell us about your group and we will suggest one. For something specific, see our private sunset cruise and private dinner cruise pages, or events for larger gatherings.

How do I hold a date?
A deposit holds the date once you accept the quote. The balance is due seven days before the charter.

Yes. Charters are bareboat-style, so you approve your captain from our approved list.
