Private boat charter for Anna Maria Island

Anna Maria Island is a good place to want to be on a boat, and we have one based right there. Top Fun, our 48' Formula, meets guests at Safe Harbor Pier 77 on the island, so a day around Bean Point, Passage Key and Longboat Key starts minutes from the dock, with no long run first.

Which boat, and from where

Top Fun is the island boat: a 48' Formula with room for your group, captain and mate aboard, leaving from Pier 77. The rest of our fleet is based around Tampa Bay, across the mouth of the bay to the north; one of those yachts can come down for a longer day, and the office confirms whether that fits your date. Ask, and we tell you plainly which boat suits the day you have in mind.

Bean Point and the north end

At the north tip of the island, Bean Point is where the island meets the mouth of Tampa Bay. From the water you see the beach curve around to the point and, beyond it, the channel that leads out to the Gulf. It is a landmark for a private yacht rental, a place to anchor off for a swim if the captain judges the current and the swell are kind. The captain chooses the spot, and nothing is fixed in advance.

Passage Key, view only

Just north of the island lies Passage Key, a small, protected bird sanctuary. It is closed to landing, so we view it from the water only. Keeping a respectful distance is part of what makes the stretch special, and the captain knows where the limits are.

Egmont Key across the channel

Longboat Key to the south

Private, with your own drinks

Your own drinks are always welcome. If you want a meal aboard, ask the office about a chef and catering, which are quoted on their own.
