A day aboard
Your day starts at Maximo Marina in south St. Petersburg. Bags come aboard, shoes come off, the playlist starts, and within minutes the marina slips behind you as the Sea Ray opens up toward Tampa Bay.
Cruise beneath the Sunshine Skyway and take in one of Tampa Bay's most recognizable views, or point the bow toward Shell Key for clear water, a swim and time at anchor. On a longer charter, favorable weather and the captain's plan may take you farther toward Egmont Key and the mouth of Tampa Bay.
Back aboard, the cockpit becomes home base - lunch, drinks, conversation and that inevitable moment when nobody wants to leave the water. The cabin below offers a cool retreat when someone needs a break from the sun.
Then the pace changes. Towels get hung up. Drinks get refreshed. The afternoon light softens as you cruise back toward St. Petersburg, with the Skyway and the Gulf Coast sky setting the scene for the ride home.
